The cigale (or cicada)
is known in Provence as a symbol of good luck and hospitality in the home.
At
the top of the cigale, there
is a small reservoir where lavender oil is added and a cork is included to plug
the hole once the fragrance fills the room. There
is a wire piece on the underbelly used to hanging.
Made in Provence. 7" tall. Assorted colors.
