Sucriers were used at a bar or bistro to hold sugar cubes
which were used in the ritual to sweeten the taste of the
bitter
absinthe. Tastes sometimes varies from as much as
1 to 3 cubes. This sucrier is a reproduction of a late 19th
century sugar holder. Glass bowl is mouthblown and
stand is hand-made stainlesssteel over brass.
